A Guest Spot on “Loving the fifty something” blog!😊

HI Everyone!

First, let me apologize for being behind on your awesome blog posts! I am back now and hope to catch up, but I have to admit that I have been chronically behind for months now! 😳 And, we have three trips scheduled for August! I really hope to read your awesome words soon!

While I was traveling, Sam, from Loving the fifty something, published a guest post featuring me. She was kind enough to include me in her “amazing over 50’s” series! If you have not met Sam yet, she is a amazing over 50 herself! She surfs and mountain bikes and has a fabulous attitude about aging! Check out her blog and connect with an outstanding person!!

PINTEREST? Older women? Where are you? Here’s how to get there.

This is a topic I have been looking into as well. I have been working, slowly, on my Invisible-no-more Pinterest site, adding to it and making new pins. I think this is a brilliant article from a kindred blogger💕

The Middle-Aged Warrior

Pinterest is huge. I mean, really huge. Did you know that it currently boasts around 100 million active users!? Incredible! That’s a massive audience. Also, it’s got a BRILLIANT new feature – seen a dress, pair of shoes, coat on TV you love? Cheeky Life Lessons

No one says it better than Miriam! Another wonderful post by a special lady 🙂

The Ten Commandments of Blogging

I just found this wonderful blog by Wayfarer, that it appears, everyone else already knows about! I really love this post! And, I hope to follow these “commandments” as I think they make for a better blogger

A Holistic Journey

1. Thou shalt not waste readers’ time. Offer up thy readers a worthy sacrifice that they might take and be satisfied.

2. Thou shalt honor thy muse. Be prepared in season, out of season to seize inspiration when she comes that ye might write, dance, photograph, paint thy bliss. Be not caught without thy scroll, ink, pen, iGadget, camera. Thou wilt not redeem the moment the locust has eaten.

3. Thou shalt preview thy draft and spell-check before publishing that the Angel of Vengeance shall not fly over thy blog in the night.10commandmts2

4. Always speak ye the truth.

5. Thou shalt not take up the like button in vain, foremost on this blog. It is holystic ground. Thou shalt in integrity read the posts before clicking anything lest thou incite my wrath. Know ye that I see thou couldst not have read four of my brain-intensive posts in one…
