Here is my contribution to Linda’s challenge today. I generally take a photo of each sunrise here in Tucson. I am partial to the beautiful colors, but was a little curious how the image would be affected if it were in black and white. Very different pictures!
Grab your camera or phone and join Linda from Everyone Else has the best titles and Take the “Black and White and Color” photo challenge!
Very different indeed. Always wanted to visit Arizona – looks stunning!

sounds like an amazing image. Is it a white and black of the sunrise?i can’t imagine how that looks like.

Yes, the same photo is in both color and then in black and white.

it would help if you started adding captions (for people who are blind or have a vision impairment) so that those who use assistive technology knows what you post. it’s just my opinion though, it’s up to you if want to add it.

Oh no! I didn’t even think of that! I am so sorry – I didn’t realize that captions would be useful for that purpose. I am working on an animated photo for the next post, please let me know how it translates for you!

well, before i became blind, i never paid attention to these things either – except on newspaper – and that was only because i’d be curious to know who was who or what was what. i never thought that it could be useful in other areas either. and, to be honest, i usually don’t tell people this small detail, but lately i’ve met other people like me and they too get frustrated. so, i’m reaching out to a selective few. thanks. i’ll letyou know how it turns out.

Like them both, but (because there is always a but) the colour one really has something extra special.
