  1. Congratulations…you do have one lovely blog here! Rock climbing looks like a lot of fun and to be outdoors connecting with nature is always so rewarding. Wow you sure have done both a lot of running and traveling, impressive! I must say those pics of the foods you made look delicious…that cake is amazing! I don’t know if you’ve entered menopause and hot flashes yet but if not oh boy that will be your next great adventure!! Thanks so much for the nomination and for your kinds words and visits. It’s very nice to meet you, wishing you a wonderful weekend. 🙂

    • Unfortunately that adventure started a few years ago (right around 46) Geez, how annoying!! Now that I am 50 I have started with the dizzy spells, even when I miss a cycle-so unfair! I am ready to be done with the whole deal, just waiting for my body to finally give up on the irrelevant ovulation thing! Love your blog and you have a great weekend too!

      • Oh how did you get so lucky to start early!! 😉 I’m all done with the ovulating, now I just have to deal with the irrelevant hot flashes and mood swings!! Thank you again, you’re sweet. I look forward to spending more time visiting and reading more of your posts! 🙂

  2. Congratulations! Loved this post! Wow, a PhD in molecular biology! That’s so neat! You have so many skills and hobbies and really seem to live life to the fullest, it’s very motivational! Really like the photos too! Especially that cake at the end… 😄 Thank you for the nomination! 💖

    • Thank you Arbie (remember I am 50 so I have had lots of time to do stuff!) You are so sweet to say this, I am just starting to pull out of a really bad time in my life, which is why I started blogging in the first place. I am really trying to engage with life and people more-I have met some great people, like you, who make it all worthwhile 🙂
